The start of the Atkins diet.

Its been way too long since I last jotted down my thoughts. So here goes.

Biggest news is that I've been on the Atkins diet for almost two weeks now.  Week one saw me lose 7.5 lbs.  That was kinda cool.  Takes my fat ass down to 321 lbs.  Only 91 to go folks.

Let me tell you what sucks about the Atkins diet.  I cant have a beer.  I also miss the fruit.  Not really missing bread oddly enough.  I have no idea what this current week will do, but I'm hoping to clock in somewhere around 315.

Next week I can start working out again, or really start to work out.  Since I want to run in a marathon this year (and it wont be the San Antonio Rock N Roll Marathon, because well, I won't be in town that weekend, I'll have to find another one in the area.  I saw one in Austin, one in Corpus around the same time.  I'll probably do one of those, if for no other reason than to accomplish my goal.  I guess I'll make my San Antonio Rock n Roll Marathon debut in 2013.  Well if we are still around there, since the world ends this December according to the Mayans

So Roomstore is going out of business in San Antonio.  This means Becky wanted to go look at what they have.  She said, we need to maybe look for an end table and a new table like thing near the door.  We found one for near the door, but it would really make things look too narrow I think.  So we didnt buy it.  We found an end table like thing and it lead to a lot more.  Teaser!  I'm going to take photos tomorrow and I'll put them up then.  So stay tuned for that.

I went to a class for Zip Forms this past week.  Its a real estate thing, if we recall from about a month ago now, I vowed to get more serious about real estate.  I've also bought business cards and got signs for my new broker.  Well it had only been about 5 months, so thats not too bad right???

I don't know if I had mentioned but I did sign up for my Broker's license, so thats something thats forthcoming.

I've decided to get my real estate website started again, so thats one of my next projects, which might lead me to write that real estate blog.  We'll see.

Lastly, is it me or are voters just very easily swayed this year?  You have polls making these huge, wide changes on a seemingly daily basis.  Has this ever happened?  I have never seen it before, or at least don't recall seeing this in the past.  Am I crazy?  And I also find it funny that my fellow Texans have finally started to turn on Rick Perry.  I like that he cost the state 2 million dollars or so with his little Presidential run.  I'm still trying to figure out how he was elected again after basically flat out lying about oh so many things.  And then whats that with Gov Jan Brewer in Arizona.  Have some respect for the office of President.  Or isn't that what the Republicans told the Democrats when they hated on Bush constantly?  Then again, from what I hear, Jan Brewer is bat shit crazy.

What do yall think about the political race going on?
